How many first-year students live on campus?

What type housing do first-year students live in?
All rooms for first year students on Brookline, Chestnut Hill and Newton campuses are traditional style housing. 牛顿山和栗子山的大多数房间都是双人入住，也有一些三人和四人入住的选择. Brookline Campus only has double occupancy rooms. All students have access to laundry facilities and study/recreation rooms. Each campus has access to a dining hall, mailroom, exercise space, and chapel.

Newton Campus is located at 885 Centre Street in Newton, about 1.5 miles from the Chestnut Hill Campus. 每周7天，连续不断的班车接送学生往返于牛顿校区和栗山主校区之间. There are no lofted triple rooms on the Newton Campus.

Brookline Campus is located at 400 Heath Street, approximately 1.3 miles from our Chestnut Hill campus. Only students enrolled in Messina College will be permitted to live on Brookline Campus. There are no lofted triple rooms on the Brookline Campus.

To submit your housing application you will need to complete the following steps:
- Log in to your BC Applicant Status Portal
- Scroll down and select the "Complete Your Housing Application" dropdown
- Follow the steps provided to submit your housing application.

Roommate requests may be made within your housing application.

Assignments Order:

Benefits:

Roommate Requests:

De-tripling:
Within the first-year area, relocating students from lofted triple rooms is a high priority. The Office of Residential Life works to de-triple rooms throughout the academic year.

- Documentation must be sent to the Disability Services Office, which will review the request.

Each room is furnished with a bed, mattress, desk, chair, and dresser for each occupant. 每个学生的房间里都有内置的壁橱(三人间共用一个壁橱)。. Most rooms on Newton and Chestnut Hill have wall-to-wall carpeting. All rooms on Brookline Campus have tile floors. All students on Chestnut Hill, Newton and Brookline campuses will have access to Comcast Xfinity streaming service for their TV or devices.

绝大多数房间都是传统的双人住宿，每层楼都有一个共用浴室. There are a limited number of single occupancy, natural triple, and quad rooms available on both the Chestnut Hill and Newton Campuses. Brookline Campus contains only traditional double-occupancy rooms. Any student requesting a housing assignment based on a medical condition, psychological or physical disability must register with the Disability Services Office by the priority deadlines established for each semester.
All first-year students access their buildings with Eagle IDs. Students should not punch holes in the card as this could cause the card to malfunction. 栗树山和牛顿的学生也将使用他们的身份证进入他们的卧室和公共浴室. Brookline students will be provided with keys to access their bedrooms. Students should never leave their room without their Eagle ID.
